The Afon Wybrnant rises in the upper levels of the Gwydyr Forest (south), between Cwm Penmachno and the Lledr Valley in Conwy County , North Wales. It flows through the peaceful Wybrnant Valley, passing Ty Mawr Wybrnant, before tumbling down the steep sides of the Lledr Valley and joining the Afon Lledr close to Pont Gethin (by the Conwy Valley Railway Viaduct). A beautiful river and the falls, between Cae Gwaew and Cyfyng, are a perfect spot for a fairy glen.
