Awel Yr Aran Restaurant, Restaurants Bala, Gwynedd - Wales where to go, what to see and where to stay in Wales

Awel Yr Aran Restaurant in Bala
81-83 High Street Bala Gwynedd Wales
The Awel Yr Aran Restaurant is prominently situated in the tiny coastal North Wales town of Bala and here, open year round, we cater for a loyal local customer base which is augmented substantially during the tourist season – and at other times by customer friends who are happy to travel long distances in order to enjoy a meal here. Bala itself is a very popular tourist draw. This pretty town consists of little more than one street but Bala Lake nearby is the largest body of water in Wales and we have the wonders of Snowdonia on the doorstep. There are, then, a number of reasons to visit Bala and feast the eye – and then to visit us at The Awel Yr Aran for another feast which will more than satisfy the appetite! All our dishes are homemade and whilst we use local Welsh produce wherever possible, the menus have a modern British theme resulting in an excellent choice of succulent dishes. There is something for everyone, including vegetarians, at Awel Yr Aran. The restaurant is licensed so there is an excellent choice of beers, lagers, wines and spirits with which to complete your meal and enjoyment. Couples, families and small group bookings will find a warm Welsh welcome here and excellent value, delicious dishes cooked to perfection. During the summer months we are open between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm serving coffee, snacks, lunches and teas and again in the evening between 7.00 pm and 9.30 pm. Awel Yr Aran is a delightful little restaurant seating just 25 so, particularly in respect of evening bookings, advance booking is advisable if at all possible. Join us soon to enjoy the finest homemade dishes using, wherever possible, fresh local Welsh produce.| AS OF 2015 I AM UNABLE TO LOCATE THE WEBSITE OF THE RESTAURANT
