Rhyd Ddu Gwynedd Wales
Rhyd Ddu Railway Station lies on the Welsh Highland Railway line in Gwynedd, North Wales and has direct links to Meillionen Forest Campsite, Beddgelert, Nantmore, Pont Croesor, Porthmadog, Snowdon Ranger, Plas y Nant, Waunfawr and Caernarfon stations. Rhyd Ddu Train Station was built in 1881 and has been named ‘Snowdon’ and ‘South Snowdon’ during its lifetime. On the 26th of September 1936, passenger services ceased at the old station and on the 18th of August 2003 the station was reopened to passenger services.
