Iard Hendre Tal-y-Bont Gwynedd Wales
THIS ATTRACTION DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE A WEBSITE BUT IT HAS AN UNOFFICIAL FACEBOOK PAGE.| Hendre is a unique venue, being part of one of the best preserved Victorian Farmyards in Britain - built by the Penrhyn Estate in 1860 for horse breeding and training. It is a Grade 2 Listed builing, which is one of the highest grades for an agricultural building. You can enjoy our home cooking or take a relaxing drink in the Hendre bar and tea room in front of a roaring log fire or in the traditionally cobbled courtyard. Why not see some of our horses and experience some of our history first hand by taking a magical history tour with Majestic, our 19 hand Shire horse Why not browse in our gallery which exhibits the work of the traditional welsh makers from the on-site Hendre workshops as well as local talent from the surrounding area. We are located between the coastal village of Llanfairfechan and the University City of Bangor on the A55 Expressway, Just on the foothills of the Snowdonia Mountain Range. Directions are given on our Location Page. An ideal location for walkers and cyclists, or simply to take a break during your journey. We also have a fully preserved victorian medieval-style banqueting hall which holds a regular Theme Party, as well a medieval banquet on the first weekend of every month.
