Situated in the heart of Yeovil, Mermaid Hotel was formerly a 15th-century coaching inn and features a spacious open-plan bar, split-level restaurant and free on-site parking. A flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities are featured in each room at The Mermaid, and most come with an en suite bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is available on request. Classic British dishes are served in the on-site restaurant, as well as a traditional roast carvery. A range of baguettes, sandwiches and snacks are available at the bar. With the hotel being on Yeovil High Street, many shops are only a short walk away. 2 theatres are within a 5-minute walk, and Yeovil Golf Club can be reached in just under a 10-minute drive.
Although parking is available on-site, there is limited space so it operates on a first-come-first-served basis. The property have Karaoke on Thursdays and live music on Saturdays so some noise disturbance is possible in certain rooms.
