A great base from which to explore this beautiful part of Wales, with New Quay, Aberaeron and Cardigan all within easy reach.. Llysywennol adjoins the owners’ house and is a delightful holiday home arranged over two floors. Set back from the road, and with its own parking, the private entrance leads into a delightful, enclosed, split-level courtyard garden overlooking fields. The house has been attractively furnished to provide spacious accommodation and features a large living/dining room and a fitted kitchen, a spacious hallway and utility area. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms and a shower room. The master double room has lovely views over the countryside. Situated just 7 miles inland from the beautiful Ceredigion coastline, Llysywennol is perfectly located for discovering all that this wonderful area has to offer. It is a distinctive region with a thriving cultural identity. There are award-winning beaches (many dog friendly all year round), sandy coves, sea cliffs, caves, wonderful wildlife, spectacular sunsets and starry dark skies. Visit quaint New Quay, where the houses cling to the rocks above the bay, bottlenose dolphins can regularly be seen and boat trips can be taken. There are shops, cafés and pubs, and you can sit watching the boats bobbing about in the harbour whilst enjoying an ice cream or fish and chips. Hundreds of nesting birds such as guillemots, razorbills, cormorants and gulls can be spotted on this coastline, and the Cardigan Bay Coastal Path offers 60 miles of stunning scenery. The pretty Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron is only 15 minutes away, and Aberystwyth, with its pier and promenade, is 45 minutes. Explore the castle and visitor centre at Cardigan, 30 minutes, which is situated at the mouth of the Teifi Estuary, or visit the Cilgerran Castle, 35 minutes, where events are held in season. Wales’ oldest town of Carmarthen is a 45-minute drive, and offers a large selection of shopping, cinema, theatre and restaurants. You will be spoilt for choice for places to explore; roads are never congested, the air is clear and the welcome is always friendly. Come and explore, and make Llysywennol your home for a short break or longer stay. Beach 7 miles. Shop 250 yards, pub and restaurant ¼ mile..
