Well equipped and good location. Not the cleanest but not surprised in accommodation that accepts pets (we took ours). Had read other reviews about the damp smell but was worse than expected- second bedroom was so bad I would not put our baby in there so she ended up sharing our room for the week, unfortunately the bed was terribly creaky so she woke every time we turned over in bed!

This property would be fine if you intend to stay out and about all day. The location is great if you have dogs and want beach and woods. However if you have been out for a while or indeed if you want to chill out at the property, the enclosed "garden" is fully surrounded by tall conifers. There is no sun at any time of day and feels cold and uninviting. The slate and slabs are covered in algae and leaves leaving it treacherous to walk on especially when wet. Otherwise the flat itself is great, warm and inviting and very well equipped.

Lovely accommodation and a real bonus that dogs were allowed. You wouldn't think so though because there was no evidence of previous canine visitors. Beach is close by but quite a steep pathway for less mobile people.

The location of the house is ideal as it is literally a stones-throw from the beach, and on the Pembroke Coastal Path. A quick walk along the beach drops you in Saundersfoot where there are shops etc. but you need to walk along the road when the tide is in. Everything you need is there and the owners were helpful when we contacted them before the visit. The neighbour upstairs gave us a nice welcome too. It would not be suitable if you are the sort of person who likes to make noise late at night, as the neighbour upstairs is very nearby. There was no noise from them though. We were very pleased with everything in the flat (beds, kitchen stuff etc), and the loo separate from the bathroom was good. The back garden was indeed dog-proof - we have a terrier and he did not manage to escape. If pushed to make a criticism, you need to know that this is really a basement flat, half of it is underground, so it seemed a bit dark. This was not helped by being surrounded by high dark trees. You really needed the light on in the kitchen even during the day. The living room has 2 nice large windows but look out onto trees well above your height so there is no view. You cannot see the sea from any room, despite it being so close to the beach. All in all, you should have a good holiday here, and there are lots of places to see nearby, especially if you like walking.

Had a lovely holiday. Enjoyed being so close to beach yet in a peaceful wooded setting. Dishwasher would have been nice.

Great accommodation. Great location. Fabulous that it's doggie friendly. All the facilities you would want. No phone signal there but I would say that's a bonus to help you relax and unwind

What an absolutely perfect holiday accommodation. The location is fantastic. The property itself is lovely. The sofas and beds were exceptionally comfortable. Really appreciated the CDs, DVDs and books. Only a 2 minute walk to the lovely beach. Our 2 jack Russells loved it too! The patio garden is safely enclosed. Can't wait to book our next stay there. Thank you so much!

Unfortunately, we found mold on the cheese grater and in the frying pan! Crockery smelt funny as dud the cupboards. Wifi would be helpful too. No plug sockets by the mirrors. Lots of noise from the flat above at night from cupboards and tv.
