The shower wasn't good, electric boiler and separate pipe for basin, didn't work for the rental cottage. Didn't provide the first night logs and coal as it was promised in the website. The game room wasn't a room you could stay for even 5 min as it was cold and no heating inside and the games were used really cheap stuff. The tennis was broken as well as the ball. Internet connection so slow and sometimes crashes. Didn't provide the cleaning stuff such as toilet roll, hand-wash and big bag. I asked the lady but she said is not part of the service. But only the hot-tub was good.

Very nice relaxing and peaceful holiday, the dogs loved it and the kids loved the games room. Nice and clean, and loved the hot tub.

Loved it. We were a group of 6 with a dog and we all had a lovely stay. Made contact with owners, for arrival and immediately felt comfortable. When we arrived we were made welcome. The cottage is quirky and you can see the original features and the newer add ons. All rooms were quite spacious. Lots of communal space, living room, dining space, conservatory, large kitchen with all mod cons and plenty of crockery etc for eating in. Large fridge freezer and laundry equipment in the utility room. Steep steps to garden, but flat level space where the carport and hot tub are. Lovely log burner. Storage heaters were great. Very quiet location with pub only a few yards away, which was very friendly serving good food. We really did have a lovely stay.

Most dog friendly cottage we have stayed in, it says there is a pond in the front garden, but it is also fenced off (great our Lab and collie did'nt find the water) Everything you need is there kitchen is spread out with some things in the utility room ,but was'nt a problem for us,lovely helpful owners that was there if needed(never did ,no problems)t.Thank you for Wine and lovely Flowers most welcome.some lovely walks ,Hot Tub GREAT after morning walking ,Played pinpong really had a lovely time there, and have already booked for next year,we gave local amenities only a seven but ,but we had read how far local shop was when we booked....We loved it

Overall we enjoyed our short break. The Garden was lovely, but spoilt a bit by being by a busy road. I did not realise when booking that the road would be that busy! The beds were comfortable & the kitchen had everything we needed, but it was spread out, with the fridge( which was lovely & big) in a different room to the main kitchen.

Was a great place to stay and use as a Base to see some of the natural beauty of Wales. It was easy to find and get to and was large enough for the 5 of us plus our dog. Although right on the main road the traffic noise wasn't a distraction.

Fabulous cottage; comfortable and very well equipped. Owners were very friendly and approachable. We all loved the hot tub and the kids spent hours in the games room. The local pub is great too. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anybody looking for a relaxing holiday and it was a great price. Couldn't find any faults or negatives with the place. The only downside is that there isn't much to do nearby, everything is quite a drive away but if you're happy with driving or just want a holiday to relax and go walking then this is a must stay.

My wife and I enjoyed a week's break at the end of July with our three, pre-teen granddaughters and would like to thank the owners for all the care taken to make us feel welcome. The cottage was in a good, central location to explore Wales and in a most beautiful part of the Country. It was so spotlessly clean throughout and with lovely, clean, fresh bedding. Although advertised as "dog-friendly", there was no trace or smell of dogs which had previously stayed (even only the week before). It was very well kitted-out with a range of quality appliances, bath, showers, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave etc. There was a complete range of quality pots, pans, cutlery and crockery; we needed not to have brought anything with us. We did appreciate the little touches of wine, flowers and chocolate for the children which made us welcome from the outset. The well-prepared "Welcome booklet" and leaflets catered for every eventuality; shops and supermarkets were not too far away at Newtown and Llanidloes. My wife and I enjoyed the small library of books; everything had been so well thought out. Our children fully enjoyed the hot tub (again, beautifully clean and serviced), the "play-shed" was well equipped and there was even a selection of board games for good, family fun. We found, close by in the village, there was even a well-equipped, play area which was clean and well maintained: the views from there were magnificent. Yes, there was traffic during the day, but it was very peaceful at night; the beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The owners were readily available, if needed, but their visits to service the hot tub were very discrete, always respecting our privacy. We have stayed in other cottages before and this was, by far, the best. Thank you

A perfect cottage for us ,six people and two dogs, everyone had plenty of space the games room was used alot by the teenagers in our party and the adults loved the hot tub and conservatory even the dogs had a decent sized safe space to run around,we predominently wanted a peaceful family time together and the Garden Cottage proved to be really well equipt with everything we needed.

This was our second time at garden cottage and we really enjoyed it again. The cottage is perfect for a family with lots of space so that everyone is not on top of each other. The garden space is big and ideal if you have two dogs like we did!

Beautiful little cottage, ticked all of the boxes for me and my partner. Only downside was no outdoor lighting for the hot tub! Apart from that then it was perfect, would stay again in a heartbeat. I'd recommend going into newtown and eating at the preem Indian. Not too far from Aberystwyth and it's a beautiful drive around the Welsh valleys. 10/10. P.S just sort some outdoor lighting lol.
