Coed-y-Brenin mountain bike centre and forest are on route to the coast, and Snowdonia and attractions are around an hours’ drive. There are four National Trust properties nearby; Powys Castle, Chirk, Erddig and Attingham park, and the market towns of Welshpool and Oswestry are home to some great restaurants and bars..
