What does this mean? Simply that we have stayed at the hotel and we feel we can recommend the hotel. We only add the tried and tested tag to hotels that we feel offer a good quality service for the price they were charging, in other words value for money. Obviously this takes into consideration the location of the hotel or guest house.

An hotel in the City of Cardiff will be charging more than the same standard of hotel in a small market town, although they may offer similar facilities and services.

Location within a particular town or City is also taken into consideration. for instance the Royal Hotel in Cardiff is a pleasant boutique style of modern hotel. It does not have great character and is similar to thousands of other modern hotels, but it is a clean well equipped hotel with pleasant efficient staff, and most importantly, is in the heart of the City of Cardiff close to all the attractions.
