Upper Killay is a village in the Gower, City of Swansea, South Wales. It lies some 4 miles west of the city of Swansea, half a mile south of Dunvant, and 2 miles north of Bishopston. Upper Killay is a gateway to the Gower from the east.
Village Centre
The village benefits from a village shop and a park - located next to the community centre. The main road through the village passes over a cattle grid to the west, which marks the start of Fairwood Common. The village has its own rugby team, Swansea Uplands RFC. Their clubhouse and playing fields are to the south of the village, on Fairwood Common.
Walks, Cycle Trails and Other Activities
There are a number of footpaths and rights of way criss-crossing the landscape around Upper Killay, including a riverside walk to Three Crosses that joins up with the Gower Way long distance walk. The Clyne Valley cycle track passes though the village.

The beaches at Caswell Bay, Langland Bay and Swansea are some 3 miles from Upper Killay.

The Fairwood Park Golf Club borders the village, and the Clyne Golf Club is 1 mile to the south east of the village.
