The village of Llwyngwril is situated on the A493 between the towns of Dolgellau and Tywyn in the county of Gwynedd in West Wales.
Villages close by include Arthog, Fairbourne, Llangelynnin, Rhoslefain, Llanegryn, and Friog. The village sits in a beautiful location on the edge of Cardigan Bay and the landscape is criss-crossed with walking trails, including walks on the slopes of Cadair Idris, one of Wales most popular mountains. Llwyngwril beach is good for surfing and coastal walks and with regular sightings of dolphins, seals and porpoises in the bay it is a popular spot with walkers and nature enthusiasts.
