Llandybie is positioned between Ammanford and Llandeilo in the county of Carmarthenshire, South West Wales. The town used to prosper from the old ironworks, but the works has long since closed. Today Llandybie is a quiet, peaceful place to visit, away from the hustle and bustle of urban areas.
The town church is dedicated to St Dybie, after which the town is named. The present building dates back to medieval times, although the site is much older. Although the tower dates back to the 13th or 14th century, the clock was added as recently as 1920 and acts as a memorial to the men killed in the First World War.
