Neath is an 18 hole, 6490 yard, mountain type course that is undulating
with out being too severe. Neath Golf Club sits atop a high hill at
Cadoxton just two miles from the bustling old town of Neath. Founded in
1934, the course was designed by James Braid and he most certainly came
up trumps by creating a demanding course. The views of the Vale of Neath
and the outstanding countryside beyond are something very special, making
this area an ideal destination for a golf holiday. James Braid once wrote:
" I must say the views from every part of this course are truly magnificent".
Visitors and Societies are welcome except for weekends and pre booking is
essential.

Pontardwe Golf Club is an 18 hole, 6038 yard, wooded course situated
some 600 feet above sea level with spectacular views of Swansea bay and
the Brecon Beacons. Pontardwe is in the county borough of Neath Port Talbot.
It is situated midway between the Brecon Beacons National Park and the City
of Swansea.

Maesteg is an 18 hole, 5929 yard, hilltop course, although reasonably
flat, with scenic views over wooded hills and valleys. Maesteg Golf Club
offers the golf enthusiast a well maintained course of considerable character
and maturity (Est. 1912). In an attractive country setting, the course
offers its own distinctive level of play, catering to both beginners,
seasoned golfers or for a golf break. Maesteg delivers a course sculpted
from naturally picturesque surroundings with pronounced rolling terrain.
There is a practice area and putting green. Visitors and societies are
warmly welcomed but are recommended to pre book.
