The Lloyd Family

My mum, June Lloyd, was born in Llanhilleth on January 11, 1934. She was the oldest daughter of Daniel and Margaret Lloyd. My Gradfather, Dan, was a coal miner. The Lloyd's had 4 children altogether: John , Sandra, Joy and June. They moved to Ramsgate, Kent, England in the 1940's. My daughter and I are going to visit the area in the fall of 2014 and would love some help finding out more about my family. Are there any places I could go to search births, etc?
