Have you thought about Having a Sand art competition on the Barry island sands some when during the summer months, I have seen Sand art in Tenby and also on the One Show on BBC television dated on the 24-9 2013. Maybe ,an early springtime event, Pick yourself a theme and there must be many artist in the area to act as judges and all monies raised perhaps to Ty Hafen. Is it worth a consideration.
