The pleasant village of Arthog is situated on the banks of the River Mawddach in Gwynedd, West Wales. Just 7 miles from the market town of Dolgellau and 3 miles from the seaside resorts of Fairbourne, and Barmouth there is plenty to do both in the village and its surrounding area.

There are plenty of areas to search and explore in its extensive grounds, as well as taking exciting rope courses on four different trails: the Postman’s Walk, Burma Bridge, Leap of Faith and the mysterious Tunnel trail. There are many scenic walks to take through Arthog, particularly on the slopes of the mountain Cader Idris, and along Llwybr Mawddach, once the old railway line running through Arthog, which is popular with both walkers and cyclists.
