POWERBOATING. Pembrokeshire. West Wales Wind Surf and Sailing. Learn to handle powerboats quickly and safely. Courses are run April to October for recreational boat users, watersports instructors, safety boat crews, divers, ski boat drivers and for commercial boat users. Own boat tuition and 1 to 1 tuition available. The RYA level 2 course qualification with its associated International Helmsman's Certificate is likely to become the EC 'driving licence' for small powerboats. The course includes launching and recovery, low and high speed manoeuvres, securing to a buoy, anchoring, coming alongside, man overboard drill and how to cope with emergencies, etc, as well as types of craft engines, drives and safety equipment..........
