You should allow 2.5 hours to complete this walk (Distance 5 miles / 8 km). The walk starts on the beach at Oxwich Bay and it is a very easy walk to describe, but no less beautiful for that. Simply exit the car park by walking on to the beach and turn left. Continue walking for 2 miles to Three Cliffs Bay, turn around and walk back.
I recommend the walk when the tide is out as this offers the opportunity to vary the walk with a bit of beach combing at low tide on the outward walk and, by keeping to the high water mark on the return trip, the chance to visit the sand dunes and nature reserves of Oxwich Burrows and Nicholaston Burrows on the return journey. ....More Information >>
