Porth Oer is a National Trust managed beach on the northern side of the the Llyn peninsula, it is also known as whistling sands because of the noise sometimes made when you walk on it. A well known and popular spot for body boarding, beach sometimes has excellent waves when conditions are just right and the swells wrap in around the point.....
