Rhiwiau Uchaf, Llanfairfechan, Conwy County, Wales,
The Severan Milestone was set up in 208 AD in the reign of Septimius Severus. It is a cylindrical well cut stone of a type found throughout the Roman Empire. Close by was the Hadrianic Roman Milestone. Both stones stood near Rhiwiau Uchaf, on the Roman Road between Canovium (Caerhun) and Segontium (Caernarfon). The original stone is on display in the Gwynedd Museum, Bangor, North Wales.
