The Afon Aber, River Aber, is a river that flows from Bont Newydd to the Irish Sea via the Aber Valley, North Wales. The Afon Goch rises in the Carneddau mountains and flows over Aber Falls before being joined by a tributary, Afon Rhaeadr bach. The conjoined river is then known as Afon Rhaeadr Fawr and flows as far as the confluence of the Afon Anafon and the Rhaeadr Fawr at Bont Newydd. From Bont Newydd the river is known as Afon Aber or Afon Aber Garth Celyn.
