The River Arrow is a river that has its source in Powys in Wales, then flows into the English county of Herefordshire. <br><br> It rises near Gwaunceste Hill, 542m, then flows south-east through Newchuch and Michaelchurch-on-Arrow in Wales, before flowing into Herefordshire, England, and through the town of Kington. It proceeds east through Herefordshire, passing Lyonshall, Staunton-on-Arrow, Pembridge, Eardisland, Arrow Green, Monkland, Ivington, and has its confluence with the River Lugg south of Leominster, at Stoke Prior. <br><br> The Offa’s Dyke Path, a long distance trail, cuts across the valley of the River Arrow at the village of Newchurch.
