Come and make merry at Caldicot Castle's famous Medieval Banquet in the style of our noble ancestors. Join the Baron and Baroness in the romantic candlelit splendour of the Great Hall. You will be attended by the gracious and talented Ladies of the Court in their colourful medieval gowns, and served with mead, wine and succulent dishes. Ale is available to purchase for those who prefer a longer drink. Your Serving Lady will gladly bring it to your table. Whilst feasting, you will be regaled with the "food of love"... Music. Enjoy traditional entertainment of Wales presented by accomplished performers. The tone of the evening is good fun and gracious manner. You are welcome at our drawbridge from 7pm and invited to our pay bar for pre-feast drinks. At 8pm you will be taken to the Guardroom and introduced to your Baron and Baroness for the evening. Then you will ascend the tower's spiral staircase to Caldicot Castle's Great Hall and shown to your table. Your Medieval Banquet ends at approximately 10.30pm, the bar closes at 11.45pm and the Castle closes at midnight.....
