5 Main Street Fishguard Pembrokeshire Wales
Bar Five opened its doors for business in the Spring of 2005. Situated in a beautifully refurbished Georgian town-house in the heart of Fishguard, Bar Five offers a unique dining experience. Spread over three storeys, Bar Five has fantastic locally-sourced food to offer, in a contemporary yet welcoming environment. We have restaurants on three floors; including a private dining room, and an outside covered terrace - offering panoramic views over Fishguard Harbour and Lower Town quayside, where filming took place for the classic movie 'Moby Dick', with Gregory Peck as Captain Ahab, and was also used as the setting for the television recording of Dylan Thomas's 'Under Milk Wood.' At Bar Five we endeavour to provide a warm welcome to guests who might just want to pop in for a quick drink, possibly a snack, as well as those who wish to enjoy an unhurried three-course meal. Our kitchen team produces imaginative meals from the best ingredients we can source - which are almost exclusively locally produced, reared or caught. So, for a memorable experience, drop in to the best bar none...Bar Five.
