The Railway Inn is a Pub and Restaurant in Abergynolwyn, south of Dolgellau in the county of Gwynedd, Wales. The village is popular with steam train enthusiasts, being a terminus for the Tal-y-Llyn light railway. The station is actually some 3/4 mile from the village, just far enough to develop a thirst that may be quenched in the Railway Inn. I can thoroughly recommend the pub as we enjoyed a delicious meal and good beer when we visited in 2007. I can also recommend the circular walk from Abergynolwyn through the beautiful Dysynni Valley and returning via Castell-y-Bere, and Llanfihangel-y-Pennant. ....
