The Aberglaslyn Pass (Bwlch Aberglaslyn) is a narrow gorge in Snowdonia, Gwynedd, north Wales. The Afon Glaslyn cuts through the Aberglaslyn Pass on it's journey from Mount Snowdon to the Bay of Cardigan. Fortunately the A498/A4085 road follows close to the river as it tumbles through the Pass. But to fully appreciate the beauty of the Aberglaslyn Pass take the footpaths alongside the Afon Glaslyn. Surprisingly (being just a few miles from the heart of Snowdonia) the Glaslyn River was, as recently as the early 19th century, navigable as far as the Aberglaslyn Bridge, Pont Aberglaslyn.
