Manod Mawr (661m) is a hill in the Moelwyn range of mountains in Gwynedd, North Wales. Located east of Ffestiniog and north west of Llyn Celyn. Manod Mawr and Manod Bach are two prominent hills visible while driving north along the A470 from Trawsfynydd to Blaenau Ffestiniog. As the name suggests Manod Mawr is the larger of the two hills. Llyn y Manod, a small lake lies between the two hills. Trails run from the A470 close to Llan Ffestiniog passing between Manod Bach and Manod Mawr and through to Cwm Penamnen (Dolwyddelan) and Cwm Penmachno.....
