This route is not so much a mountain bike trail as a cycle route. But as there doesn't appear to be a great choice of MTBike Trails in the county I thought I would include it. The trail is located in the Llys y Fran Country Park a few miles south of the Preseli Hills section of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, between Llandissilio to the East, Wolf's Castle to the West, and Haverfordwest to the South West. The off road cycle route (7.5 miles) circles the lake, Llys-y-Fran, against a backdrop of mature woodlands and open grassland that surround the reservoir. Llys-y-Fran Park also offers a circular walk, facilities for fishing, with a fleet of 30 boats, extensive disabled angling facilities and a visitor centre and restaurant. The reservoir itself is a 212 acre man-made lake, which supplied most of Pembrokeshire’s drinking water. Mountain Bike hire is available.
