The Penhydd Trail is the original mountain bike trail in Afan Forest Park, There are big climbs followed by technical descents which mean this trail is not suitable for novices. It is 22 km long (approx. 14 miles), starting and finishing at the Afan Forest Park Visitor Centre it is south of the river. Allow 1.5 hours to 3 hours, with some parts being Technically Difficult.
