Eldon Square is the town square of Dolgellau, Gwynedd, Wales. The square is formed by a number of strong grey stone buildings, including the old Dolgellau town / market hall that stood empty for many years until it received a new lease of life as Ty Siamas, a cultural, arts and music centre that promotes traditional and modern Welsh music. Today Eldon Square contains a butchers, a bakers, sorry no candlestick makers, a Quaker Exhibition, jewellery shop, fresh fruit and veg shop, outdoor gear shop, computer shop, TV and Radio shop, bookshop, flower shop, hairdressers, ladies clothes shop and the Dolgellau Farmers' Market on the 3rd Sunday of each month ...phew!....
