Coes Faen or as it is known The Clock Tower is a landmark in the Mawddach estuary, Barmouth North West Wales. It is sited on a natural projection into the estuary, some 300m to the east of Barmouth railway bridge. It is an eclectic Victorian Gothic house built of stone under a slate roof. Built by the Lowe family, mill-owners, the main section dates from c.1844, to which additions including the striking clock tower were added c.1890-1900.
