Llyn Dinas is to be found alongside the A498 road that connects Beddgelert to Capel Curig in Snowdonia North Wales. The lake is fed by the Afon Glaslyn and is in the shadow of Yr Aran (747m). Close to the village of Beddgelert the lake offers fishing for trout and salmon. Llyn Dinas covers some 66 acres and has a maximum depth of 10 metres. The popular walk from the Aberglaslyn Pass via Cwm Bychan to Beddgelert passes close to the lake.
