Llyn y Fan Fawr (Welsh: lake of the big hill or mountain) is a natural lake to the west of the Black Mountain range in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Powys, Wales.| It lies at the foot of Fan Brycheiniog, the highest peak of the Black Mountain range within the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Beacon’s Way National Trail passes close by the lake and the path offers fine views of both the lake and the Brecon Beacon’s National Park.
