This Ty Bach, or little house, is located on the slopes of the Lledr Valley below the valley of Wybrnant, in Conwy County, North Wales. What is a Ty Bach? Well ... it is a toilet. This one is the toilet for the old abandoned school at Cyfyng located on the hill above Pont Gethin, near Dolwyddelan. As can be seen from the map there are no houses close to the school and children would have to walk for several miles to get to school, rain, wind or snow! Welsh people find it amusing when newcomers call their new house or cottage Ty Bach.....
