We are based in Brecon, Powys in South Wales in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. The walled garden on Ffrwdgrech estate has been brought back to life over the last two years after 35 years of disuse It is now producing organic vegetables and fruits as well as culinary and medicinal herbs. It is set in beautiful, natural and ornamental woodland and is a very healing and tranquil place. A log cabin visitors center has been built from western red cedars growing on the estate. There are many birds regularly nesting and appearing in and around the garden, such as buzzards, redstarts, sparrow hawks and swallows. It also attracts frogs, dragonflys and many butterflies. Our overall aim is to help to reconnect people to the natural world and to explore the close relationship we all have to it.
