Dingle Nursery & Garden(Image: Dingle Nursery & Garden)
The internationally acclaimed, four-acre garden at the Dingle is the lifetime work of Barbara and Roy Joseph. The Garden is run by her grandson Duncan and his wife Clare, with the support of the rest of the Joseph family and the knowledgeable team at the adjoining Nursery. Barbara has created a secluded and beautiful area with in mid Wales' rolling hills, which serves to inspire visitors all year round. The garden is especially well known for its colour-themed and unusual planting which includes lakeside, lawned and mixed bed areas showcasing a wide and unusual range of shrubs, tree and herbaceous planting that offers a perfect opportunity to take a relaxed stroll, entertain the children while they search out hiding places and dens, enjoy a picnic lunch, or to simply gain inspiration for that next gardening idea. Apart from the variety and beauty of the garden what makes the experience unique is that most of the varieties are provided by the adjoining nursery. The Dingle Garden offers an ideal day out which can be enjoyed as a special trip or as a way of breaking a journey on the way to the coast or Mountains, we hope you will agree.
