Brecon International Festival Of Jazz is generally regarded as the UK's number one jazz festival. It takes place in the small market town of Brecon at the foot of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales on the second weekend of August. Every year, Brecon Jazz features over thirty concerts by some of the leading jazz artists in the world. A unique feature of Brecon Jazz is the Stroller Ticket - a passport to a choice of up to sixty live music performances in a number of intimate venues across the town. The beautiful market town of Brecon is situated on the A40 between Abergavenny and Llandovery. It is also easily accessible from the A470, Cardiff to Builth Wells road. The nearest rail stations are at Abergavenny, Merthyr Tydfil and Hereford and there are also local bus services. You are advised to make your travel arrangements well in advance.....
