Brecon Farmers Market in Wales
High Street, Brecon, Powys, Wales
Brecon Farmers Market is a popular market held at Brecon Market Hall in the centre of the town of Brecon in Powys, or should I say Brecknockshire, Mid Wales. You can buy high quality, locally produced, fresh, seasonal, food and hand-made products which are reared, grown or made in an approximate 30 mile radius of Brecon, Powys in Wales. Brecon Farmers Markets are held on the second Saturday of each month (except August) from 10am to 2pm in the Market Hall, Brecon. Brecon Farmers Market is worth a visit for the lively atmosphere alone with folk musicians performing and boy scouts selling raffle tickets, and, if you are lucky enough to get a seat at the cafe table, one of the best bacon butties I've eaten in a long time! There is a great selection of local meats, organic fruit and vegetables, cheeses, bread, cakes, and some tempting locally brewed bottled beers which unfortunately I was unable to take away as Eira Wyn had other priorities! ....
