Melin Tregwynt is a delightful white washed wool mill to be found in a remote wooded valley on the Pembrokeshire coast. There has been a mill on this site since the 17th century, when local farmers would bring their fleeces to be spun into yarn and woven into fine Welsh wool blankets. Owned by our family since 1912. it now employs around 20 people. Today traditional Welsh designs are transformed with beautiful colour and innovative design. Simple in spirit, satisfying in quality and timeless in design our Welsh woollens can be found in hip hotels and design-led stores worldwide, and on television and film. You won’t find us on the High Street but you can buy from our mill shop or order direct from our catalogue and you can view our latest products on this website. Our mill shop and coffee shop are open 7 days, for light lunches, locally baked sponge cakes, barabrith and welsh cakes and good Cappuccino coffee! Tregwynt is in the Pembrokeshire National Park and there are spectacular beaches, cliffs and coastal footpaths all within five minutes easy walk from the Mill Admission Free....
