Jonathan creates his vibrant ceramics in an idyllic valley just three miles north of Carmarthen, moving there from Staffordshire with his wife Catherine and daughter Amelia. Visitors can now discover a varied collection of work on display in his studio. He specialises in a form of decoration known as tubelining. This technique gives a raised slip outline to the decoration that can lend itself to many creative possibilities from freely drawn naturalistic designs to an arresting new range of contemporary "facepots". An unusual collection of lustreware is also on show. Spanning more than twenty years, Jonathan's career has included designing for the Moorcroft Pottery and selling at prestigious shows and galleries across the UK.
