New Quay Ceredigion Wales
New Quay Head sits on the Cardigan Bay coastline between Llangrannog to the southwest and Aberaeron to the northeast. New Quay Head is a hard rock headland that shelters the town and seaside resort of New Quay, Ceredigion, West Wales. The view of the headland from Llanina Point is said to have inspired Dylan Thomas when writing Under Milk Wood. The town's terraced streets viewed from ‘Majoda’ (Dylans home above Traethgwyn beach) inspired the phrase "hill of windows", and helps to establish New Quay as the town Dylan called Llareggub. Although residents of Laugharne and Llansteffan might beg to differ.
