Seion Chapel Cilcennin (Welsh Independent) is located in the village of Cilcennin, Cerdigion, Wales. | Sometimes Zion Chapel. The original chapel was built in 1775, the first appointed minister was Thomas Rees, Lampeter. Seion Chapel was rebuilt in 1834/1835. In 1835 the Reverend William Evans, Talybont, appointed joint minister to the Reverend Dr Thomas Phillips at Seion Chapel. | In 1859 the Chapel was rebuilt once more on the site of the present chapel. | Seion Chapel is a member of the Union of Welsh Independents group of Churches, but has also been known as a Congregational Church in the past.| Times of services are available on the Cilcennin Community Website link below.
