Llanidan Church, St Idan or Nidan's Church, is located on the outskirts of Brynsiencyn in Anglesey, North Wales. The church was built in the 19th Century to replace the Old Llanidan Church. I have a theory that the original church tower was extended to its present height some time after its construction. I have not been able to confirm this but the stones used to form the now crenellated tower are obviously from a different quarry and give the clock tower a top heavy appearance. The graves within the south side of the churchyard can truly be called tombs with a view with magnificent views of the hills of Snowdonia.
