Pwllgwaelod Beach in Wales
, Bryn Henllan, Pembrokeshire, Wales
Pwllgwaelod Beach is a small sandy beach with cliffs on either side. Unfortunately the water quality failed the annual test and swimming is not recommended (2008). Lets hope they get it right for next year. The beach is located on the north coast of Pembrokeshire between Fishguard and Newport, on the western side of Dinas Head. Pwllgwaelod Beach is popular for boating and walking ...as with many Pembrokeshire beaches it is bordered by the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path which in this case enables a short walk around Dinas Island. Dogs are allowed. Facilities: Toilets and a local pub that serves food. Car parking: Parking is next to the beach.....
