Porth Eilian beach is located on the north east point of Anglesey, North Wales. The beach sits between the rocky headland of Point Lynas, Trwyn Eilian in Welsh, and the inlet known as Porthyrychen close to the village of Llaneilian. There is a small sandy beach with rocky outcrops at either side. Having a slipway the beach is popular for sea kayaking, sailing and diving. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area of Porth Eilian beach with choughs, ravens, oystercatchers, and gannets. Indeed the sea off Point Lynas is noted as a good viewing point for harbour porpoises and seals. Facilities include toilets and parking close by.....
