Aberporth Sailing and Boating Club
New Quay Beach is located between Llangrannog and Aberaeron on the Cardigan Bay coast of Ceredigion, West Wales. There are a number of beaches at New Quay including the north beach, the south beach and the harbour beach. We are concerned here with the harbour beach which is a picturesque beach with golden sands and excellent quality of water. The beach is popular for swimming, sailing and fishing. Due to it's popularity there are zoned areas for beach and sea waters. There is a watersports centre located on the beach. New Quay beach and indeed the Cardigan Bay area is renowned for frequent sightings of bottlenose dolphins and boat trips sail from New Quay harbour to explore the Ceredigion Marine Heritage Coast. Facilities include toilets with facilities for the disabled. There are also cafes and shops close to the beach which has a slipway for launching small boats.....
