Abersoch main beach is probably one the most popular beaches on the Llyn Peninsula. Its sheltered position makes it ideal for bathers and watersports lovers alike. It faces the mountains of west Wales giving spectacular views from the beach. The beach is comparatively safe with a motor boat exclusion zone providing a secure area for bathers.Abersoch main beach is very popular with water sports enthusiasts like wake boarders and water-skiers. International sailing events are held from this beach providing a wonderful spectacle.
There is a shop and cafe at the top of the beach. There are also beach huts available to rent, either by the day or the week. Dogs are allowed, however they are only allowed on the part of the beach south of the slipway. There is a car park which is set back from the beach a little but still gives good access, but there is charge during the main holiday periods.....
