Westdale beach in Dale, Pembrokeshire is a sandy beach surrounded by towering cliffs. In 2010 the beach was awarded the Green Coast Award. Located on the outskirts of Dale, access to the beach is by steep steps only. On the way to the battle of Bosworth to found the Tudor Dynasty, King Henry VII landed his army at the beach. The wreck of a steamer can be seen on the beach at low tide. The beach is located on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and offers scenic landscapes and clifftop views, this is also a popular location with surfers. Nearest facilities to the beach are in Dale itself where there is a café, restaurant and pub and also an activity centre providing watersports tuition.
