Church Bay beach is located between Carmel Head and Holy Island on the North West of Anglesey, North Wales. Church Bay is so called because of the nearby St Rhuddlad's Church, Llanrhuddlad which is visible from the bay. A steep footpath from the village leads down to a beautiful bay made up of rocks, pebbles and sand. It is edged by rock pools and backed by steep cliffs along which the Isle of Anglesey coastal path runs. The beach offers excellent water quality (2008) and is popular for swimming, sailing and fishing. Facilities include: Toilets with disabled facilities. Cafe / restaurant and a slipway. The beach is cleaned daily by the local authority and there are litter bins. Dogs are allowed and there are dog bins - owners are required to clean up after their dogs. Car park available. The beach is signposted off the A5025 coast road.
